Fairview Bible Church
A boringly normal, biblical church — and we mean that as a compliment.
Fairview Bible Church was founded in 1974, rooted in the conviction that the Bible is our ultimate authority and source of truth as God’s unfailing Word. It is through the faithful teaching of the Word of God that we can grow to better know, obey, and love Christ.
You’ll find when you spend time with us that we are far from perfect—but that we want to point you to the One who is. In an age when churches are scrambling to adapt with the times, our hope is that, in a historical sense, Fairview Bible Church is a boringly normal, biblical church. We have no interest in reinventing the wheel or creating a “new kind of church.”

The Lord's Day
Come for the whole morning. The hour in the middle is on purpose.
9:30 am – 10:30 am
Sunday School
Bible classes for all ages. The adult class is the informal one: announcements, prayer requests, two or three hymns, and teaching from the Scriptures.
10:30 am – 11:00 am
Food & fellowship
A half hour built into the morning so there is time to encourage and edify one another. Come for the whole morning, enjoy the break, and stick around afterward.
11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Main Service
Several songs, old and new, then a forty-minute expositional sermon. Separate classes for infants through 3rd grade; 4th–12th sit in the service.
Wednesday · 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Bible Study
A more informal gathering of the church family to pray for one another, read larger portions of Scripture, and discuss deeper questions of Bible interpretation and life application. First Wednesday of the month — potluck at 6:00 pm, Bible Q&A 6:45–7:30 pm.
First Sunday of the month
The Lord’s Supper
As we do, we recall the death and resurrection of Jesus, renew our commitment to Christ and His church, and look forward to His return. Anyone who has placed his faith for forgiveness and eternal life in Jesus Christ alone, and is in good standing and fellowship with Christ, is welcome to partake.
Preaching
We have nothing better to offer than the simple communication of the Word of God.
We have nothing better to offer than the simple communication of the Word of God, and our goal is to accurately convey what the original author intended to convey. God uses His Word to accomplish His purposes in the world (Isa. 55:10-11). What this means is that the only power our ministry will ever have comes from God’s Spirit working through God’s Word.

The whole libraryWhat we believe
Cling to the whole Bible, not a part of it.
01
The Scriptures
The Bible, comprised of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
02
God
There is one God existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternal in being, identical and perfect in nature and attributes, equal in power and glory. God is the Creator of all things, Lord of all creation, Redeemer of all who accept Him as Savior, and Judge of the living and the dead. Being sovereign over all creation, God is the moral lawgiver and morality is defined by His Word.
03
Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. In His incarnation, He reveals God and redeems man.
04
Man
God created humans, both male and female, in His image and likeness. God instituted marriage to be between one man and one woman, which illustrates the relationship between Christ and His Church.
05
Salvation
Salvation is deliverance from our lost condition unto eternal life. It is the gift of God to man, offered by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.
06
The Church
The universal church consists of all believers from Pentecost to the Rapture and is the body of Christ united by the Holy Spirit.
07
The End Times
Throughout history and according to His plan, God has accomplished His purposes through Gentiles, Israel, and currently the Church. We look forward to the Rapture of the Church, the Second Coming of Christ, the coming Millennial Kingdom, and the new heaven and new earth where believers will spend eternity in the presence of Christ.
“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:11

Come and see
There will usually be someone at the front doors to greet you.
When you come in the main entrance, the bathrooms are to the left, the sanctuary is to the right, and most of the classrooms are right off of the sanctuary. Feel free to ask them any questions you might have — that is what they are standing there for.
